Professor Michael Dobson: Tuesday 2 November, 7.00pm
The Director of the Shakespeare Institute will speak about Measure for Measure, an A-Level set text and one of Shakespeare’s most compelling and relevant plays.

Clare Fuller: Thursday 4 November, 7.00pm
Unsettled Ground
Clare's critically acclaimed novel, Unsettled Ground, is on the shortlist for the Women's Prize for Fiction 2021. Critics have called her the modern Thomas Hardy.

Malcolm Hebron (English Department): Thursday 11 November, 7.00pm 
Drawing from Holbein to Hockney
An introduction to drawing across the ages, from the Old Masters to contemporary art. The talk will be fully illustrated and draw on some of the College’s own treasures.

Pseudium: Saturday 13 November 2021, 10am-12.30pm
Dons from all departments will teach their favourite lessons. Expect bangs and whistles in the Chemistry Department; medieval manuscripts in History; drawing and painting in Art; brainteasers in Maths; painting-handling sessions in Art History; discussion and debate in Div. Three 35-minute hours (lessons) – prepare to be amazed! Limited spaces available.
 
Tour of the Archives by Suzanne Foster (Archivist): Thursday 25 November, 2.30pm
A visit to the Lower Muniment Room to see some of the oldest documents relating to the College and its foundation. You will then move on to Wiccamica Room to see the collection of memorabilia held there. Please note that both rooms are located in medieval towers and accessed via spiral staircases without handrails. This will be followed by tea, coffee and biscuits in the Warden’s Drawing Room.
