The OW Cricket Club (OWCC) is a historic and convivial home for OW cricketers of all abilities and ages.

We play around 20 fixtures every season, between May and September, both at home in Winchester (on Lords) and away at some of the most picturesque and iconic club grounds on the cricketing circuit, like the Hurlingham Club and Burton Court in London, as well as Highclere Castle - the home of Downton Abbey.

Fixtures include matches against alumni of school rivals, some of the most well-known and distinguished amateur clubs, the current Winchester College First and Second XI sides as part of Wykeham Day, and a handful of Legends team outings for the over-40s (who also partake in occasional overseas tours, to destinations like Milan and Saint-Tropez).

In addition to a packed schedule of friendlies, the Club also enters the prestigious Cricketer Cup knockout tournament every year, which is a chance to demonstrate the best of our alumni talent.
