The Friends of Winchester College in Hong Kong was established to develop closer relations between Winchester and its supporters in Hong Kong. OWs, parents (current, past and prospective), former staff and friends are eligible to join. Winchester has a distinguished entry from Hong Kong and greatly values its association with the Hong Kong community. By joining the Friends you will be contributing to the Winchester way of life.
How you can get involved
A growing number of activities are organised by the Executive Committee of The Hong Kong Friends of Winchester College, chaired by Mr Brian Li (E, 1987-92), now a Fellow at Winchester College.
The Hong Kong Friends of Winchester College rolled out the red carpet for the Headmaster’s first-ever visit to the region. Travelling with Elizabeth Stone were Surmaster (Academic), Dr John Cullerne, and Director of Development, Melanie Bushell, who all received the very warmest of welcomes. Read more here.

Networking
The OW HK Guild is an opportunity for OWs to network and host a number of gatherings in Hong Kong. In April 2018 the Guild hosted a special lunch event at the China Club in the presence of the Headmaster and Chairman of the Wykeham Campaign, Mr Nick Ferguson CBE (C, 1961-66), who shared the latest developments on the Kingsgate project, as well as updates on other school activities. A growing number of OWs and parents from Hong Kong are generously supporting the school. The Friends of Winchester College Limited is a registered charity under the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance. As such all gifts to The Friends, in support of any project at the School, are tax deductible for Hong Kong taxpayers. The Friends also has an agreement with the College allowing it to retain up to 5% of any gift. This levy has allowed The Friends to support Hong Kong students at Winchester and the development of the Wykehamical community in Hong Kong.
