On 16th February 2023, a number of Old Wykehamists from across Australia and New Zealand and their partners got together at a dinner in Sydney on a beautiful summer's day to welcome the newly appointed Headmaster, Elizabeth Stone, and her husband, Robert Maurency, as well as retiring Director of Development, Lorna Stoddart, and her husband, Gary. Lorna was passing through Sydney, and was able to share with the local OWs the progress of many of the projects currently in train at Win Coll. Elizabeth is currently living in Sydney as the Principal of Queenwood School, and was delighted to join this dinner and share with us some of her experiences of Win Coll in the past and her initial ideas for the future. It was the first time Elizabeth and her husband had joined an official OW dinner since the announcement of her appointment, making it a very memorable dinner for all.
