Harry Matovu KC On Commercial Law and the regulation of AI

Harry Matovu KC has for over 30 years been a barrister at the leading commercial set Brick Court Chambers. A King’s Scholar at Eton, he went on to read classics at Oxford before his call to the Bar. Over the course of his career, he has become a leading silk in a variety of areas and is a top-ranked international arbitrator. Recently, he has been influential in the creation of the Black Talent Charter - an initiative that seeks to ensure race equality is a cornerstone of British business. The charter brings businesses together to challenge the inequities facing Black talent and has signatories from leading firms across the City. He reflected on the potential role of AI in the judicial system. A short address by Mr Matovu was followed by a Q&A session.
