Sir Graham Wrigley has been the Chairman of the Board at British International Investment (formerly the Commonwealth Development Corporation) since 2013. Prior to his second career in international development, Graham worked at Bain & Co and was a founding partner and member of the management board at Permira, as it grew into a leading global private equity firm. Sir Graham will talk about how Oscar Wilde’s advice (and a chance meeting with Sir Edmund Hillary) inspired him to follow multiple careers from mainstream private equity to private sector development in Africa.
