BREWING A DIVINE DISCOVERY

Beer was brewed at Winchester College from the 1390s until the very early 20th century. Happily, it was a form of light beer, of low alcohol content, safer to drink than water, but this did not stop the occasional pupil protest about the quantity, even the quality of the beer served. Mr Miles Jenner was the Master of the Brewers’ Company from 2015/16 and is the joint managing director and head brewer of the Sussex-based brewery, Harvey's.
