AN EVENING OF FORMULA ONE WITH ROSS BRAWN
Not just for petrol heads, a talk by the former motorsport engineer and team director, Ross Brawn. His career is best summarised as follows:
F1 Teams with Brawn in an essential role have won 8 Constructors' Championships and 8 Drivers' Championships in total.
His career is the stuff of fairy tales. One year in particular – 2009 – when he and his team bought the Honda team for £1, they redesigned the car and beat Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Red Bull etc to win the F1 Championship with Jensen Button driving the Brawn GP car.
