Peter West is an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Northeastern University London. His research focuses on Early Modern and Early Analytic Philosophy. His talk will focus on a generation of women at the dawn of analytic philosophy, in particular the work of Susan Stebbing. He will also explore his work within public philosophy, and the direction and aims of public philosophy.
