In the financial year ending 31 August 2024, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Wykehamical community, we raised £10.8 million, the majority of which will support bursaries. Regular gifts, one-off donations, support for the Annual Fund and gifts in the form of legacies have all contributed to this outstanding result. It does not matter how small, or large a gift is, everyone makes a difference and collectively are very important.
Every donor is acknowledged within the Wykeham Journal, our Annual Report, unless support has been given anonymously.
Launched in 2009 in recognition of those who give generously to the school, the Patrons have now evolved into a group of 166 keen supporters, all of whom have given or pledged to give to Winchester over a period of years. The minimum level of giving is £25,000 over five years.
Patrons and their spouses are invited to special school events, an annual dinner, and individually tailored trips at home and abroad. The events programme provides an opportunity to meet senior staff, members of the Governing Body and the Warden, Sir Richard Stagg KCMG (G, 1969-73), who is the Senior Patron.
