Approximately 800,000 leaf cutter ants now march in Science School in a purpose-built viewing chamber thanks to a grant by the Friends. Our Duncan Louis Stewart Fellow of Natural History installed the tank, tunnels and colony in August. The ants have been working hard all term. Eve invites you to meet the ants, see the exhibit, and receive a lecture where you will learn everything there is to know about our tiny but numerous new lodgers, Atta cephalotes.
There will be a drinks reception ahead of the tour from 6.30pm.
