Speakers Tristal Tull and Mike Peel of Regent's University are coming to Winchester to screen a short film based on the true short of George and Ruth Mallory.

In the shadow of World War I, newlywed Ruth Mallory witnesses her husband George’s insatiable ambition for adventure, foreshadowing his tragic legacy.

Between Heaven & Earth is an historical drama, based on the true story of George and Ruth Mallory, played by Paul Mclaughlin and Jessica Frances.  Years later, George will become a famous mountaineer in his attempt to be the first man to climb Mount Everest.

After the screening they will talk about the life of former Winchester College student, George Mallory - his life and death and to place the biographical short film in the context of his period as a newlywed to wife, Ruth. They will also talk a little about the filmmaking process and plans for a feature film too.
