Our Hong Kong Community

Over 150 guests attended the biennial gala dinner of the Hong Kong Friends of Winchester College held on Monday 23 March 2026. The Headmaster, Elizabeth Stone was the guest of honour, and also in attendance from the College were Emma Macey, Director of Admissions; Adam Rattray, Head of Art History and Div Don; and Melanie.

Guests were treated to a stunning musical performance by Winston (Coll, 2022-) of Oscillation by Kit Turnbull before being taken through a Div Hour by Adam, which took themes derived from the image of the Trusty Servant. Adam applied them to The Whitehall mural, which depicted Henry VIII alongside his parents and wife, Jane Seymour, and was a significant representation of Tudor royal portraiture.

During their brief visit to Hong Kong, the Win Coll team also enjoyed an informal social gathering with local OWs, gave a presentation to future parents, and had several meetings with donors and other supporters.

It is always a treat to meet up with our amazingly warm, supportive and extensive HK community and celebrate the bonds that tie us together despite the miles between us.
