Sir Anthony Beevor speaks on Russia, the revolution and the Civil War

RUSSIA: REVOLUTION AND CIVIL WAR 1917 - 1921

Sir Antony Beevor (K, 1960-64) was educated at Winchester and Sandhurst, where he studied military history under John Keegan. A regular officer with the 11th Hussars, he left the Army after five years to write. He has published four novels and thirteen books of non-fiction. His work has appeared in thirty-four foreign languages and sold more than 8.5 million copies. Sir Antony will be talking about his latest book: we are delighted that he will return to his old school to talk.
