Winchester College is embarking upon probably the most comprehensive development plan since its foundation. As part of the Southern Campus Development, the school's sporting facilities, based at Kingsgate Park, will undergo a significant transformation and improvement over the next couple of years.
Back in the 1960s when the old PE Centre was built, the school was home to 550 boys, with a small selection of football and cricket teams and a handful of additional sports on offer. Today there are 700 pupils and a diverse range of more than 30 sports to choose from.

The Cost and Fundraising
The fundraising target is £15 million and thanks to the generosity of parents and Old Wykehamists we have raised £13.6 million in cash and pledges. The more we can raise in support of this project, the more we can protect current funding bursary provision. Bursary provision remains a top priority for Winchester.
