OUR NEXT EVENT
Our next Evensong is on Saturday 16th May 2026 in Winchester. Save the date.
ABOUT US
Welcome to OW Chapel Choir Society (OWCCS). OWCCS is open to former members of Chapel Choir including former Dons and Quiristers (whether or not you attended Win Coll subsequently).
OWCCS operates on a "free to sing" principle so it is free to join and be a member of the Society. However, donations for running costs are invited from any members and participants who are able and willing to help to defray the incidental costs of staging its events. Contributions can be made (by card or in cash) at suitable moments during our events, and at any time by electronic payment sent directly to the OWCCS bank account at Metro Bank (Sort Code 23 05 80; Account No. 56376828) with the reference “OWCCS Donation”.
Additionally, being a member does not oblige you to commit to any particular event. It simply means that you will be kept updated on forthcoming events and you can register to sing when you wish. If you are not a member and wish to join us, please click the 'join us for free' button above..
We hold two Evensongs a year, one in Winchester College Chapel in the summer and the other in St. Bartholomew the Great in London in the autumn. The top line is recruited from our soprano friends. Our aim is to make choral music to a high standard in a convivial environment.
