During Common Time 2024, the majority of V Book pupils completed a career questionnaire. To encourage more people to become Tégés on Wykeham Links, here is a very brief analysis of the anticipated career choices of the year group. This is not based on actual outcomes, but at least gives an indication of where current Wykehamical interests lie.
In short, almost any sector will interest someone! Over 100 separate job descriptions were recorded from the cohort. Some pupils will have indicated more than one choice as these are based on 242 career picks. Inevitably, there is a strong interest in city jobs, but also a good number in sciences and engineering.
After some selective grouping, the top choices, based on a percentage of total, are as follow:
